Lamborghini Indomable Study Merges Gallardo and F-22 Fighter Into One

At the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, design students Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares prepared this Lamborghini design study, called the Indomable.

Under the supervision of Filipo Perini, head of Lamborghini Centro Stile and designer Alessandro Salvagnin, Ochoa and Albilares were tasked with creating a design study based on the existing Lamborghini Gallardo's wheelbase.

The Indomable is the result. Said to be inspired by the latest generation fighter planes such as the F-22 Raptor, it incorporates features like a Y-shaped glass engine bay cover and a taillight assembly that also acts as the rear wing.

Ochoa has had an interesting career. Having worked on everything from aftermarket aerokits for Volkswagens and Fords to designing busses for his homeland of Mexico, he then worked an internship at Lamborghini Centro Stile for 6 months after finishing his Masters at Scoula Politecnica di Design.

Lamborghini Paris Show Supercar Teaser No5 - It's Almost Over...

And yes, Lamborghini has just released teaser image number five of the as of yet unnamed supercar model that will make its world premiere in Paris this week. Being that the motor show kicks off on Thursday, the painstakingly slow striptease of the carbon fiber adorned Lamborghini will continue with one last close-up photo on Wednesday just before the grand reveal. Let's hope the new Lamborghini model lives up to the hype... See the rest of the teaser shots in our gallery after the break.

Lamborghini Mystery Paris Show Car Striptease Continues with Teaser No3

Unless our eyes are playing games with us, Lamborghini's third consecutive teaser photo gives us a glimpse of the Paris motor show car's interior / dashboard, which like the rest of the vehicle, appears to make use of carbon fiber.

Given that the previous teaser shot previewed what looked to be a V10 engine, there's a good chance Lamborghini might show two vehicles in Paris, one being this model (quite possibly a concept for a lightweight supercar) and the other the successor to the Murcielago.

Stay tuned on Carscoop as we will be bringing you all the latest news from the Paris Motor Show.

Lamborghini's Paris Supercar Teaser No4: Can You Guess What it Shows?

Here's the fourth teaser shot in a series of six photos of Lamborghini's Paris Motor Show-bound supercar. We're not sure what part of the car is shown in this latest picture (feel free to speculate in our comments section below), but it's obvious that the material used is carbon fiber.

The Sant'Agata-based company is keeping a tight lid on details until the grand opening of the show on September 30, but our first guess after seeing all these pictures would be a lightweight supercar concept with a V10 powerplant. More to come in the next few days.

Paris Preshow: Lamborghini's 999kg Sesto Elemento Concept Revealed [Updated]

[Updated with New Images] These are the first full-blown pictures of the concept car Lamborghini has been teasing Ford Explorer-style for a little while now. It's called the Sesto Elemento (Sixth Element) and, according to Carscoop sources, it is powered by the Gallardo Superleggera's 5.2-liter V10.

Riding on center-locking wheels (seen in one of the teasers), the Superleggera's 570-horsepower mill pushes the car to 100km/h (62mph) in 2.5 seconds. That's nearly a second faster than the rocket ship-like Superleggera, all thanks to a massive reduction in weight.

Sant'Agata's newest concept showcases Lamborghini's commitment to reducing weight, and boy howdy does this car get lightened up; the Sesto Elemento weighs in at a featherweight 999 kilograms (no word yet on if that's dry or wet).

Unlike more unique concepts from the past, like the 4-door Estoque and retro Miura, the Sesto Elemento looks more like a Gallardo - Lamborghini's smallest and lightest current model - just drove through a razor-filled car wash. Expect more pics, info, and the announcement of oodles of carbon fiber as soon as its available.
